This manufacturer offers conscientious parts that get to the essence of things, overturning the conventional wisdom that more gears are always better.

You can choose your gearing freely, without being limited by categories such as road bikes or mountain bikes.

The newly arrived Advent is a 1x9 speed drivetrain series, appealing for its simple and easy-to-use lever and sprocket compatibility.

Additionally, 9-speed chains and sprockets are thick and robust, offering excellent durability as one of their features.

From commuting and shopping to weekend cycling and trail rides, Microshift offers gearing that is "just right" for our cycling life.

What does "good compatibility" mean? It means you can freely choose combinations regardless of handlebar or shifter lever shape.

For example, "thumb shifters" that go well with old-school MTBs, and "wide sprockets" that can climb any hill.

A combination that's also easy to use for simple city bikes with flat handlebars.

For this combination, the following parts set:

・Microshift Advent H-Series 9 Speed Cassette 11-46 

・Microshift Advent Medium Cage Clutch Rear Derailleur

・Microshift Advent Thumb Shifter 1x9

 For example, "brake/shifter integrated levers" for drop handlebars, recommended for gravel roads, and "short-reach derailleurs" that are less likely to interfere with obstacles when riding through grass or gravel.

These gears are also easy to use for people who mainly ride on flat terrain.

Any combination within the Advent series is freely configurable, so please choose what best suits your riding style.

Now, a slightly niche topic, but I'll introduce the "good points!" of each part.

The brake/shifter integrated lever for drop handlebars, "Drop Bar Shifters".

This is the right-hand lever, with two small shift levers attached inside the large brake lever.

These two shift levers move "just a little" inwards on the handlebar to shift gears, so they are less likely to interfere even when carrying luggage or a basket on the bicycle.

This is the left lever. The Advent series is 1x9 speed, so this is a brake lever only, without a shift lever.

There is also a model that comes with a dropper post lever, so please consider it if needed.

A slightly more niche rear derailleur is the "Super Short Cage Clutch Rear Derailleur".

It can use a wide 11-38t sprocket, and the derailleur body itself is compact, allowing it to be set higher from the ground.

It's highly recommended for wild riders as it's less likely to get caught on grass or branches when riding off-road. It also goes well with bikes with smaller wheels.

The derailleur body has a lever with a "⚪︎⚫︎" mark.

This is a clutch function that suppresses chain flapping, and when turned ON, it makes chain drop less likely.

The Super Short Cage Clutch Rear Derailleur has a dedicated 11-38t sprocket, so please use that.

While the number of gears in race settings continues to increase (10, 11, 12, 13...), Microshift still offers solid and robust components with 10 speeds or fewer.

Durable, simple, easy to maintain, easy to adjust, and less prone to breaking.
